3 words

People have the hardest time saying those heavy three words.

One can feel exposed, vulnerable, sucky, silly, overly sentimental.

I have come across a website called 3 words. You plug yourself in and send the link to your loved ones and they can say three words-any three words about you-and make it anonymous or not.

Be brave today and tell someone how you feel about them and then get hooked on it and  just for fun do it every single  day.

Here is my brave link . Make yours now! (And I would love it if you sent it to me so I could tell you what I think of you)

clean and sealed

“Hi Dear. I have your wedding dress in my locker and it is cleaned and sealed. What do you want me to do with it? Do you want me to save it for the girls?xxoomom”

My mom sent me this email last week. She is moving and she is going through old stuff. She cuts to the chase. The subject line reads 1991- the year I was married.

At least she did not ask if I would ever wear it again.

I have no idea what to do with it. Anyone want a wedding dress from 1991?

In 1991 I had freckles now I have age spots. WTF. Check out why sun feels so good in the moment but hurts in time, dammit.

Horticulture

Dorothy Parker on challenged to use the word Horticulture in a sentence-

“You can drag a horticulture, but you can’t make her think”

Dorothy Parker,  1893-1967, American poet and satirist, best known for her fabulous wit, went through three marriages (two to the same man) several suicide attempts and an increasing dependence on alcohol.

Brilliantly funny, tragically possessed.
