on dark chocolate

I can’t remember the last time someone stole the words right out of my mouth and put them down so succinctly and beautifully and poetically and judiciously that I am at once jealous of their brilliance and at the same time wanting to have them over for dinner. Followed by way way too much milk chocolate.

Dark chocolate, especially the darkest 85% stuff does remind me of brown crayons that have been melted and served up with antioxidant BS confidence. Btw, eating stuff that tastes bad makes me want to live a shorter life.

Enjoy this.

  1. I love chocolate. I eat chocolate. Cadbury Dairy Milk is my favourite. But here’s a story… A lovely French friend of mine keeps dark chocolate (she loves it truly!) tucked away in her bedside table. Before she gets up each morning (yes each morning) she unwraps a small piece to start her day with pure delight! She’s been doing it her entire life. If you love something that much, you might as well just “love” it!

    • 100% JK. If you prefer melted brown crayons then go for it. If you don’t love it then leave it, n’est ce pas? xo
