I feel thirty, sometimes act 8 but I am still 50

Is lying about your age in the dating world the same thing as using steroids as an athlete? Gotta do it to say in the game?

On the many and interesting blind dates I have been on – I have come across many people who don’t tell the truth about their age.

To that I say- yeah, I feel 30, sometimes act 8 but I am still 50.

(It is not a math equation as the numbers have nothing to do with one another. You don’t get to subtract how you feel, how many crunches you do, the number of SPF you religiously wear, the beautiful skin your grandmother had, the childlike ways you hold on to dearly, the fact that you barefoot water ski, what your mom says about how you look or how old you see yourself from what it says on your birth certificate.)

And they tell me I am the first woman they have met who has ever told the truth about her age.

Come on folks. This is not a good place to start. Besides who is kidding who?

So what are my cardinal sins of on line dating? Take a look  and take notes. Lying about your age is a poor place to start. Also when did we start feeling lousy about this?
