runs with scissors

At a busy corner in downtown Toronto during rush hour, the light turned red and several dozen cars stood still to watch a beautifully dressed woman jump out of a nice car,  also waiting for the light to change. In her hands she held a pair of scissors as she hopped the curb and jumped into a garden in front of  big church.

With all eyes on this diversion, she cut all the pretty tulips in the church garden. She worked fast leaving only a few orphans behind. With a bountiful bouquet she jumped back in her car and drove away leaving mouths hanging open for 1/2 a mile.

Did she run out of time before her  dinner party? Did every flower market  in the city actually run out of tulips? Did God owe her so she went to his ‘house’ to collect ?

I have heard “who are you when God is not looking ?” -how  about- who are you when dozens of cars are?

  1. Really? That really happened? Oh my! People are funny. I was driving behind a young woman yesterday and at a stop she threw an empty Starbucks cup out the window on to the road…I sat there thinking ‘oh no she didn’t!!’. You have to laugh and …. tell your kids not to EVER do that!

    • it really happened- just ask my mother- it is her story. Yes -further 3D example to illustrate to our children how not to behave!
