I received this last week in my inbox from my ex husband’s younger sister. We remain very close after all.
I like it. And I believe it almost all the time. The rest of the time I try to fall asleep.
It’s amazing the bond that can form when the dynamic changes (sometimes for tragic or drastic reasons) and I feel it is one to be nurtured and treasured as many people never achieve this. A bond like that remains despite the ebbs and flows of the mother and child relationship.
