hope and love and all that mushy stuff

All this talk about dying, has me needing to remember all the ways we can feel truly alive and celebrate life.

I have my list. You have yours. Here one I came across that is a good reminder.

Have a beautiful day. Be excited you are alive.

1. Say something you’ve been meaning to say.

2. Tell someone what you really feel about them.

3. Share your fears publicly

4. Tell a friend your greatest dream

5. Introduce yourself to someone you’ve been dying to meet

6. Ask someone who has done what you want to do for advice and encouragement

7. Tell your boss what you can do

8. Or tell your boss his services are no longer needed (then start pursuing your dream)

9. Tell yourself the truth instead of lying to yourself

10. Try something you always wanted to try

11. Create something

12. Fix something

13. Work on three qualities you would like to claim as your own

14. Set a 30 day challenge (I love the fact that behaviour can be changed in 30 days)

15. For me – it is HOPE. Both the verb and the noun.

16. How can we forget LOVE ? Both the verb and the noun.

17. Laughing. I need to make people laugh (last night you were falling on the floor with my story-YAY) and laugh myself.

(#1-14  from tiny buddha but I am dead without #15, 16 and 17)

Last night’s heart shaped carrot. I said ‘heart’ shaped.

For those of you who missed why we are afraid of talking about dying here it is. Part two about the benefit of this tough stuff is ready now too for your thoughtful consideration -click here.
