Be who you are
Do what you have to do
And you will have what you want.
Every year, on the anniversary of my separation, I do something extraordinarily hopeful as a way of celebrating this hard but magnificent change.
This year on the exact day, I was at a wedding in London. And no matter what happens in life, a wedding is a hopeful thing.
The minister said this wonderful bit in that basic but amazing way that some people are able to say the obvious but make it sound profound. Which, of course, it actually is.
So, in case you missed it the first time-
Be who you are
do what you have to do
and you will have what you want.
I thought you would like that.
I do!
(along with courage)
I knew you would. Plus courage! xo
