One of the greatest things is a phonecall from my dear friend Sam, who lives practically in my backyard to say “hey, come and sit with me- I made you lunch”. Two things; sit during the day (treat) and I made you lunch (double treat).
This is no PB and J friend – she loves to prepare and cook and feed the people she loves and she does it beautifully everytime. If you don’t think this feels like love, you have never been on the receiving end of this and I pity you.
